David established David Grant Special Events in 1987 & he works with some of Australia's & the world's leading chefs to cater his events. His extensive international experience gives him a unique insight into global food & restaurant trends & keeps him at the cutting edge of what's hot & happening.
For the past 20 years David has eaten in literally thousands of restaurants globally & when he's not critiquing our Chopping Block restaurants he's spending time in New York, London or Beijing, so he knows what makes a restaurant great – regardless of budget!
David's approach is "a good restaurant is all about 3 main ingredients; food, service & atmosphere, you want a perfect blend of all three regardless of whether it's a 5 star restaurant or your local friendly café, it's never just about the food only".
